In Japan there may not be such an artisan workshop as like Giannni. After crossing Fiume Arno over Ponte Vecchio to the left bank of the river, there is the shop in front of Palazzo Pitti.

Logo of Giannini's

Above is the logo of Giannini. The meaning of the Italian words is "Gulio Giannini and son, Firenze, since 1856". This logo is printed on the envelope or sheet which covers the products you bought in the shop. Major products of Gainnini are marbled paper by hand, which is famous souvenir in Firenze, and hand-tooled leather book bindings, beautiful decorated paper, greeting cards, etc. One may consider as a stationery shop, however, it is not a stationery shop like in Japan. They are producing goods in their workshop with traditional methods.

At the shop succeeded over 140 years for six generations, the present master Enrico, his brothers, and his daughter Maria present us such charming products.
