Cyprian Katsaris gave piano lessons in the TV program, "How to play Chopin", in NHK educational channel in Japan four years ago ( in 1993 ). Since that time his fans have increased in Japan. Now, not a few but substantial numbers of enthusiastic people, especially female fans, come to Katsaris' concerts.

In January this year, 1997, Katsaris visited Japan with his friends, famous string players, Ernš Sebestyen (Violin), Peter Brem (Violin), Wilfried Strehle (Viola), and Christoph Henkel (Cello), forming a new piano quintet. It is not a permanent quintet. However, every player is the member or the concert maser of the famous orchestra, and also playing as a soloist with genuine performance. So to speak, experts as comparable to Katsaris joined together with the call made by Katsaris.

Following is the concert schedule of this quintet in Japan.
